The department of Engineering Physics at the University of Technology (Yatanarpon Cyber City) is one of the supporting departments. Engineering Physics is one of the foundation courses which is necessary for engineering education. It is a compulsory subject for all first year students that provides the knowledge and applied theory including Mechanics, Oscillations and Mechanical Waves, Thermodynamics, Electricity and Magnetism, Light and Optics and Modern Physics. The course is taught online and offline as the blended learning approach. The laboratory is provided for learning how to do things such as procedures, method and skills. The best available resources are used to strive for excellent teaching. Student-centered teaching approach is used to achieve social skills, communication skills, critical thinking skills and problem solving skills. The teacher acts as a facilitator in the classroom whereas the students are thoroughly and thoughtfully engaged with each other or the teacher.
